Some Pictures for the Down Time. - 02/16/2007 - 10:30 AM:

It might take a little bit of time for Google to figure out what to do with me, and since I can think of nothing more that I can do to help things in the mean time, I'll throw up some pictures. Then I'll stop posting until we get some more news, because I don't want to flood the blog with too much information. I got a request for a still picture of the stack of e-mails I showed in the video, so here it is. Also, here are two random pictures I took of the Googleplex the last time I was there.

And just so you know, I've read every e-mail in that stack, so feel free to keep them coming. :)



Again, the stack of papers is how many sheets there would be if I printed out every e-mail I've received in the last eight hours, one page per e-mail. The individual pages in the picture are actually a little thinner than printer paper. According to the digital scale in the other room, it's 8-pounds worth of paper. Just an interesting random fact. I've decided that, no matter what, the last act I do in this project is to take the e-mails - all of them - down to Kinkos and have them printed and bound in a book that I can keep on my shelf. If nothing else, its thickness will be my measure of success.
