One of the most important features of the site was added today thanks to Matt and Chris (our unofficial volunteer webmasters). There is now a page where I can post some of the e-mails I've been getting, which I like to refer to as Pages of the Book. I'm not choosing any specific ones, nor any certain dates; every once in a while I'll just post some more. I want people to see what sort of a response I'm getting, and what sort of a community you're joining when you decide to write and add another page to the book, as so many of the e-mails have said. Go ahead and read over the letters, because they're pretty amazing.

My original plan was to leave San Francisco on the 20th. I've officially pushed that back and I'll be here at least another week. The one-week time frame I originally gave myself was not enough to carry this through, and it's just too early to go home. That said, this quest has to have a conclusion somewhere along the line, a final point where it makes or breaks. I'm hoping another week is enough time, but I'll be here as long as it takes.

And just in case anyone missed it in the last post, or if you didn't take it seriously, I've been invited to go paintballing tomorrow as a stress reliever by some of the cool people I've met down here, and anyone is invited to come. Many of us have never played before, so all skills are welcome; bring a sack lunch, stop by and say hello. I can think of nothing that would make my day better than to see some of you show up for a game or two. We'll be at Midway Paintball Extreme in Vacaville between roughly 9:00 and 4:00 p.m. Regardless, have a good weekend and holiday. I'll still be here, still at the door, come Tuesday.
